July 2024 Travel Abroad Program

Included In The $3,500 Program Fee:

  • Educational and Humanitarian Missions:
    Participants engage in meaningful activities, including supporting local communities, collaborating with churches, schools, and orphanages, and contributing to various humanitarian initiatives. These hands-on experiences provide a deeper understanding of the world while making a positive impact.

  • Cultural Immersion:
    Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of the countries you visit. Explore landmarks, historical buildings, and local traditions. This program goes beyond service; it's about embracing the beauty and diversity of our global community.

  • Advance Parole Preparation:
    Advance Parole (I-131) application preparation, USCIS filing assistance and advocacy until approval by D2G. We handle all your Advance Parole preparations, ensuring that your application is in order. 

  • Housing:
    Accommodation is provided for travel dates July 14-20, 2024 in the Dominican Republic, offering a comfortable and secure base during your stay.

  • Independent Travels to Mexico:
    You'll have the opportunity for independent travel to Mexico during your approved AP dates, allowing you to explore and experience this vibrant country. This is a chance for Dreamers to visit their birthplace, conduct family ethnographic research, and discover Mexico independently.

  • Meals:
    Three meals a day are provided in the Dominican Republic (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

  • Local Transportation:
    Transportation to and from program activities in the Dominican Republic is arranged, ensuring convenient access to project sites and excursions.

  • Group Excursions:
    Enjoy group excursions to historical sites, adding a cultural and historical dimension to your experience.

  • Exploration of the Arts:
    Engage with local art and culture, fostering an appreciation for the creative expressions of the communities you visit.

​Our Travel Abroad Program offers a comprehensive and enriching experience that combines education, cultural immersion, and humanitarian contributions. It's an opportunity to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact on the world.

Please note that $575 (USCIS FEE) is not included in the $3500 program fee. This must be paid separately. Fare tickets are not included.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for Dreamers2gether's Travel Abroad Program, participants must meet the following criteria:

​

  • Age: Be 21 years old or older at the time of travel.

  • Active DACA Status: To ensure smooth international travel, DACA status must be valid until August 2024.

  • Passport: Possess a valid passport for international travel. 

  • Participation Commitment: Must travel with Dreamers2gether Inc. as group to Dominican Republic (June 2-8, 2024). Commit to actively participating in all program activities, including helping local communities, supporting churches and schools, and exploring landmarks and historical buildings. 

  • Criminal and Immigration Record: Must have no criminal or immigration record.

  • Letter of Recommendation (LOR): Submit a Letter of Recommendation that highlights your character, dedication, and suitability for the program.


Please note that $1,000 of the total program cost is non-refundable.

PROGRAM COSTS:

Travel Dates: July 14, 2024 - July 20, 2024

Program Fee: $3,500

Advance Parole Application Fee to USCIS: $575

Total Program Cost: $4,075

Payment Options:

​

  • Option One: ​Pay the one-time full amount within 5 days of acceptance and receive an immediate $500 discount. This means the participant will only pay $3,575, which includes the USCIS fee.

 

  • Option Two: Choose the two-payment installment plan:

    • The first installment of $2,000 is due within 5 days of acceptance.

    • The second installment of $2,075 will be due 4 weeks after the first payment. This includes the USCIS fee.


Please note that $1,000 of the total program cost is non-refundable.

Payment Deadline:
You will receive an email notifying you of our selection decision after your interview. If you are accepted to the program, you will have 5 days to accept and submit your program fee payment.

Advance Parole Application:
Once your payment is received, you can schedule your Advance Parole appointment with one of our D2G advisors. Dreamers2gether Inc. is an accredited organization that will handle all your Advance Parole preparations.

Disclaimer for Program Cancellation:

Dreamers2gether Inc reserves the right to make the final decision to cancel program activities at any time, under circumstances beyond the control of the participant and/or D2G. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, changes in immigration policies related to DACA and Advance Parole, a significant resurgence of COVID-19 cases, and health protocols and recommendations issued by the respective governments and the U.S. CDC. Any other reasons for cancellation must be unforeseen scenarios and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. In the event that D2G cancels the program, program fees will be refunded to all accepted participants, with the exception of a non-refundable $1,000 fee, which covers program selection and pre-departure costs. Plane tickets are not included in price.
