Q. Why do I have to pay $50?
A. Essentially, this serves as a consultation fee, and if you are chosen to participate, it will be credited toward your program fee.If not we will help you on how to apply on your own .

Q. Can USCIS deny the application?
A. Yes! However, before denying the application, USCIS may request additional evidence. We will respond on your behalf and provide the necessary information.

​

Q. What happens if I have an emergency and cannot attend the program?
A. We will work with you to find another time to travel. At that point, you will be responsible for paying the USCIS fee of $630 (as of 2026).

Q. If I have traveled with Advance Parole (AP) before, can I apply for the program?
A. Yes!

​

Q. Are you a lawyer?
A. No, we are accredited representatives with the DOJ and USCIS. Please GOOGLE for DOJ-accredited representatives, and you will find us listed there.

​

​​Q. Are Advance Parole applications being approved?
A. Yes and no. For first time applicants, we are seeing delays. However, for second time applicants, we are seeing approvals within approximately 11–12 months.

  • International flights to and from the Dominican Republic

​

  • Personal expenses (meals outside of program schedule, souvenirs, etc.)

  • Optional independent travel before or after the program

  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

Q: How much does it cost to participate in the program?

Q: Can I bring someone on the trip?
A: Yes! They may join the trip as long as they are a United States citizen or permanent resident.

 

Q: Can I travel before the program starts and stay after the program finishes?
A: Yes! We encourage independent travel before or after the program so you can fully immerse yourself in the cultural experience.

Q: Can you explain on what the recommendation letter needs to be about?
A: The recommendation letter should speak to your moral character, integrity, work ethic, and ability to represent the program positively.

​

Q: What part of the Dominican Republic are we going to?
A: We will be traveling to Santiago (STI), Dominican Republic.

​

Q: Where are we staying?
A: We will be staying in a local Airbnb during the program.

​

Q: What will we be doing during those three days?
A: Activities may vary, but participants can expect to plant trees, visit the university we have partnered with to learn about the country's history and culture, and participate in other cultural and educational experiences you can bring back to the united states.
